Dr. Rayna Stoyanova has over 10 years of experience. She works at the Clinic of Metabolic Diseases, Endocrinology and Dietetics, University Hospital “Tsaritsa Yoanna- ISUL” and is a Ph.D. student in Nutrition and Dietetics. In 2016 she completed her second Master's degree in Health Care Management with a thesis defense in the area of drug policy. Dr. Stoyanova is involved in various national and international projects related to metabolic diseases, obesity, diabetes mellitus, innovative ways of diagnosis and therapy of thyroid diseases, cardio-metabolic risk assessment and prevention, women's health during menopause and others. She is an expert consultant in the development of different models and methodologies for working with patients, developing new molecules in the therapy of metabolic-endocrine diseases.

Dr. Stoyanova actively works with athletes and uses a proprietary program to improve their health and performance with proven success. Together with her team, she provides overweight and obese patients with a unique comprehensive program for weight reduction and maintenance of optimal body shape, including a variety of screenings, drug and infusion therapy, microbiome assessment and influencing, nutritional management and ongoing psychological support, thereby providing ongoing monitoring, strategic planning and follow-up, support and motivation. She has worked and still collaborates with the Endocrinology and Diabetology Clinic at the French Saint-Louis Hospital in Paris, and with the Canadian Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto.

Dr. Stoyanova's scientific interests include malnutrition and in particular oncology malnutrition, as well as adequate counseling in the field of parenteral and enteral nutrition. She is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Endocrinology (BSE), the Bulgarian Thyroid and Parathyroid Association, the Bulgarian Association for Study of Obesity and Related Diseases (BASORD), the Bulgarian Association of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BULSPEN), the European Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ESPEN), the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), the European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO), the American Obesity Society (TOS), European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), Bulgarian Society of Nutrition and Dietetics (BSND), etc. She is fluent in French and English.
