Registered Dietitian

Kristina Vavura is a registered dietitian with experience in creating diets for overweight and obese patients, type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, cholelithiasis, nephrolithiasis and many other diseases. Kristina is a trained dietitian counseling patients on parenteral and enteral nutrition for complicated neurological, oncological, and surgical patients. In 2022 she completed her MSc in Clinical Nutrition with a specialization in Sports Nutrition at Robert Gordon University, Scotland, where she undertook her internship and had her training in clinical dietetics. Kristina Vavura has also gained experience in genetic laboratories as a trainee in the genetics department. 

Kristina is currently working with Dr. Rayna Stoyanova at Regina Life Clinic and is the host of the first medical magazine in Bulgaria - Genica News.  She is trained to work with Abbott Laboratories on parenteral and enteral nutrition. She has completed a paediatric nutrition course as well as advanced training organised by the British Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN). Vavura has undergone a sports nutrition training course from the British Dietetic Association (BDA), as well as multiple mini-courses from the American Dietetic Association and the British Dietetic Association. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), the Parenteral Nutrition Association, the American Society of Nutrition (ASN), and the Sports Nutrition Association. She speaks English and Greek.
